Coquelicot-zaka kara

In 1963 Yokohama, a high school girl named Umi lives in a house on a hill with a view of the ocean. Each day, she raises two signal flags toward the bay, sending a message. A poem about these flags appears in the school newspaper, possibly written by Shun, the bold editor who has caught Umi's interest. As they work together to preserve their school's aging clubhouse, their connection deepens. Their relationship shifts when they uncover a shared secret from their past. Amid Japan's transition between tradition and modernity, Umi and Shun experience a meaningful journey of connection, affection, and optimism.
