After overworking her engine, Forte forces her ship to land at a nearby space station alongside Mint and Vanilla. The station seems deserted and littered with trash, but the trio soon discovers it is occupied by monkeys. While Forte attempts to contact Angel Base for assistance, Ranpha reveals the location was previously a laboratory where a viral outbreak caused the occupants to devolve into primates. The group decides to transport the monkeys back to Angel Base in hopes of finding a cure. However, an unexpected event occurs that alters their plans.
