Emperor Reinhard announces his new cabinet and agrees to visit Künmel as a favor to Hildegard's father. During lunch, it is revealed that Künmel and the Earth cult planted explosives under the court. Trüniht leaks this information to police chief Kesler, prompting plans to assassinate Reinhard. The military police launch a full-scale attack on Earth cultists around Odin. Reinhard disables the trigger through Künmel's complacency, resulting in the Mariendorfs being placed under house arrest. On July 10, 799 S.C. / 1 N.I.C., the Julian crew arrives on Earth. On that same day, the Empire decides to suppress Earth by force.
