Golden Kamuy

A former Russo-Japanese War soldier named Saichi Sugimoto struggles to survive in the harsh Hokkaido wilderness during the early 1900s gold rush. After discovering a map to a hidden stash of Ainu gold, he embarks on a dangerous journey to locate it. Others also seek the treasure, and those who know of its existence are willing to kill for it. Sugimoto must rely on his survival skills and fortune to endure the brutal environment and threats from criminals and former Japanese soldiers. He is aided in this effort by an Ainu girl named Asirpa.
