Hurricane Polymar

A young man named Yoroi Takeshi assists a clumsy aspiring detective named Kuruma Jo in a run-down office where they operate a struggling private investigation business. Their landlord's daughter, Nanba Teru, often threatens to evict them due to unpaid rent. With few cases, they rely on eavesdropping on the nearby Secret International Police Department to find work. Takeshi hides a secret: he is the son of the police chief and can transform into the superhero "Hurricane" Polymer using a special helmet, gaining enhanced strength and combat skills. Only his lazy dog, Daisaku, is aware of this, and he offers sarcastic commentary through inner thoughts. Alongside Jo, Takeshi fights various criminal groups, mutants, and monsters in the futuristic city of Washinkyo.
