Aired on March 11, 2003

Suzu and Shoukei inform the rebels they are friends of the queen, asking them to pause their suicide attack on the imperial army. Keiki reaches the castle top, and Yoko rides him to confront the general, demanding to know who ordered the army since she did not. After securing their loyalty, she orders them to arrest Gyokuyou in Meikaku and calls for forces to arrest Seikyo at her palace. Upon returning, she finds the rebels bowing and discovers the helping forces are commanded by Koukan, vowing to resolve the issue. Later, after arrests and cabinet reordering, Yoko issues her first proclamation as queen, rescinding the prostration rule except for formal ceremonies.
