Ep. 21: Lupin attempts to rescue Rie from Jooji Takigawa's captivity.

Rie is held captive by Jooji Takigawa, who claims to be a friend of her father, Ken Makita. Rie remains unaware that she is a hostage and believes Takigawa is an ally. Takigawa is actually forcing Ken Makita out of retirement to serve his demands. Lupin arrives to rescue Rie, but she resists his efforts and does not understand his motives. The connection between the two men is that Lupin's father was a friend of Rie's father. Despite Rie's reluctance, Lupin proceeds with the rescue operation to free her from Takigawa's control.
