Ep. 31: Mayans rescue captives while prisoners bargain with Menator for freedom

The group is pursued by Olmecs but rescued by Mayans led by Wynococha, Myena's fiancé. They are taken to the Village of the New Sun, where they are imprisoned. At the Olmec base, Dr. Guerra, Marinche, and Tatiola offer to locate the Golden Condor in exchange for release. Meanwhile, Myena informs her father, the village chief, about the Incan girl Zia. He recognizes her as his daughter stolen by the Spaniards years ago. Myena rushes to tell Zia, but the children have already sneaked out after overhearing that the Olmecs found the Condor. The episode includes a mini-documentary segment depicting a pagan sacrifice in southern rural Mexico.
