During a shopping trip for cream, Kyouko and Yachiyo meet Haruna, the long-lost wife of Otoo. Yachiyo struggles with the decision to reveal Haruna's existence to Kyouko, but Haruna vanishes before she can speak. Feeling guilty about the disappearance, Yachiyo is unaware that Inami has discovered Satou’s unrequited feelings for her. Inami’s sympathy for Satou leads Souta to mistakenly assume she has romantic feelings for him. Eventually, with encouragement from Satou, Yachiyo approaches Otoo upon his return. She offers a sincere apology, which helps to resolve the tension and successfully cheers him up.
