In a place called the Rainbow Canyon, there is a robot farm. The weather is unstable, but the area is protected by an environmental control tower built by Dr. Toneriko, and robots called Vegeta are working hard to grow giant vegetables. Then a young man named Katari appears. Dr. Toneriko's daughter, Mimi, begins to look up to him like an older brother, but he actually hates robots and has come to the farm to ruin their reputation. He takes over the tower, shakes the crust of the Rainbow Canyon and causes earthquakes, and the giant vegetables fall off the branches one after another, injuring Dr. Toneriko.
