Kei and Yuri were junior auxiliary agents in the Worlds Works and Welfare Agency, assigned together under the codename "Lovely Angels." Kei had recently completed her fourth probation period, while Yuri was known for her dating activities. The two initially disliked each other and refused to collaborate, with Kei even resigning from the agency. Later, they resumed working together, though their partnership frequently caused unintended collateral damage, leading to their nickname, "the Dirty Pair." Despite their frequent bickering, they eventually developed a working relationship. This series presents an alternate universe version of the characters, set in 2248-49, and is often considered to feature younger versions of the original Lovely Angels.
