Atom's younger sister Uran is born with the ability to read animal minds. A bird alerts her to an eerie pterosaur robot flying at night, but Atom dismisses her claim as a dream. Determined to investigate, Uran searches for the creature alone. She discovers that the robot was created by antiquity biologist Dr. Poppotore. Poppotore had been tricked by Katari, an opponent of robots. Uran attempts to rescue the captured scientist, but Katari intervenes. Katari traps Uran inside the pterosaur robot, leaving her in a dangerous situation while Atom remains unaware of the true events.
