Ep. 48: Kari falls ill while Tai and Izzy search for medicine under Machinedramon's control

Kari becomes sick, causing Tai to panic as he and Izzy seek medicine while Sora and T.K care for her. The Digidestined realize too late that the city is controlled by Machinedramon, who dispatches forces to hunt them down. Tai and Izzy disable the tracking system but are nearly killed by Megadramon and Gigadramon upon their return. Angemon rescues them, but Machinedramon arrives and fires his Giga Cannons at the building where the children are hiding. The attack causes the structure to collapse, sending the kids plummeting into the sewers below.
