Amidst the unrest in the city, Kai saves a girl from a building and entrusts her to Ruri Hisaishi. Ruri is subsequently shot by a group of residents, which triggers a furious reaction from Kai. In a separate location, Shin-Lu Belvedere loses consciousness as a result of Erimiya's abilities. Her brother, Shen-Long Belvedere, arrives to assist her and confronts Kai for neglecting the operation. This confrontation leads to a massive explosion that engulfs the entire city.
