Keisuke returns home as Miaka calls, while Yui departs. Nakago informs Suboshi that they will encounter Yui again. Tasuki’s bandits reinforce the Konan forces, causing Kutou to retreat. Tamahome wakes and wishes to return immediately. Keisuke, researching The Universe of the Four Gods with Toki, Priestess of Byakko’s grandson, contacts Tetsuya to reveal the narrative has entered their world, foreshadowing Nakago’s imminent arrival. Upon learning Tamahome returned with Miaka, Yui uses an earring gifted by Nakago to receive his promise of support. Hotohori prepares to personally lead his army against Kutou. Miaka, Tamahome, and Keisuke proceed to meet Tetsuya, who retains possession of The Universe of the Four Gods.
