While cleaning the school on the final day of the semester, Natsumi and Hotaru work together in the garden. Natsumi notes this is their first time alone and struggles to find conversation topics. Once summer vacation starts, the group begins their homework but soon becomes bored. Hotaru then reveals that her parents plan to purchase fireworks for them to enjoy.
