Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru

Hotori Arashiyama enjoys solving mysteries, but she struggles to understand how solving one issue often creates another. To pay off a debt, she begins working at the Seaside Maid Cafe after school, where her friend Toshiko, who has experience in running such a place, offers help. However, Toshiko has no interest in working there unless she can interact with Hotori’s childhood friend Hiroyuki, a regular at the cafe. This creates complications, as Hiroyuki secretly likes Hotori, while she has feelings for someone else. Balancing these personal tensions with work, a difficult math teacher, table tennis among classmates, and conflicts between her younger brother and a school rival, Hotori’s life remains chaotic yet somehow continues moving forward in a humorous way.
