Tetsuro finally arrives at the final destination, Promethium. However, he still cannot choose whether or not to become a cyborg. He is given twenty-four hours to make up his mind. But, during that time, Tetsuro speaks to a cyborg who was sick of eternal life and attempts to commit suicide. This man tells Tetsuro of Maetel's true identity as Promethium's daughter.
