Honoo no Mirage: Minagiwa no Hangyakusha

Takaya travels to Kyoto to look into the resurgence of the Ikko sect and Araki Murashige, a former member who left the group. With the assistance of his subordinate Haruie, Takaya tracks Araki, who is searching for a 400-year-old mandala composed of the hair of dead Araki clan members. When they find him, Haruie identifies Araki as Shintarou, the man she loved in a past life. Takaya commands her to kill Araki, who poses a danger, but it remains uncertain if she can follow through. Takaya also encounters Naoe.
