A man with a star-shaped head named Hoshi spots Nino leaving Kou's room, and drags Kou into a confessional where he has Sister act as a lie detector. Kou reveals he has yet to go on a date with Nino, and Hoshi's jeers prompts Kou to ask her out on a date. However, Nino doesn't really understand what a date is. She eventually decides to go to the mouth of the river to see if the grass boats she had been making have reached the sea. (Source: Wikipedia)
