Three students in a judo club—Niji, Gaku, and Hiyori—find themselves at a turning point. Gaku, the club president, is asked by Hiyori if he has feelings for Niji, the vice-president, and he denies them. Hiyori then reveals his intention to confess to her, urging Gaku to join if he truly cares. Hiyori approaches Niji after practice while Gaku watches from a distance. That evening, one of the three makes a reckless decision that leads to lifelong regret and self-loathing.
