A 12-year-old boy named Yuuta, who lost his father in a traffic accident a year prior, visits a remote dam in the mountains during summer vacation—a place he had once enjoyed with his father. During a thunderstorm, he slips and loses consciousness. Upon waking, he finds himself in the presence of a girl and within an unfamiliar village. He has time-traveled 30 years to a village that was later submerged beneath the dam. This experience becomes a cherished memory of a different summer vacation for Yuuta.
