A giant elderly woman named Nana Baba sits beside him and shares her meal after learning he lost his food to a girl. In return, Zatch agrees to help Nana Baba locate her son, Tadashi, and his new fiancée, Hiromi. After visiting the police station, Zatch observes Nana Baba’s worn clothing, realizing she walked across three mountain ranges to see Hiromi without Tadashi’s knowledge. Using his sense of smell like he did with Kiyo, Zatch tracks Hiromi, who wears cheap jewelry and a short skirt. He spots a woman matching this description, along with a yellow tank top and pink hair, who boards a bus. Nana Baba chases the vehicle, and Zatch runs ahead, colliding with the bus at a red light.
