His scheme is quickly discovered by the Stormtroopers and Mendo. The group becomes aware of his intentions to invade their privacy. This leads to immediate confrontation regarding his inappropriate behavior. The incident highlights the tension between Ataru's perverted nature and the other characters' reactions to his actions within the public bathhouse setting.
