Ep. 44: Ataru regrets yelling at Lum after she leaves to renew her passport

Lum's Stormtroopers organize a party for Lum, but Ataru ruins the occasion by shouting at her and accusing her of destroying his life. Consequently, Lum departs for her home planet. When she fails to return, Ataru assumes she has left permanently and begins to miss her, tearfully wishing for her return. However, the situation is resolved when it is revealed that Lum had only left temporarily to renew her passport, meaning she never intended to abandon him permanently.
