The battle between Goten and Trunks intensifies as Trunks secures a stranglehold that Goten cannot escape. Desperate, Goten breaks free by transforming into a Super Saiyan, violating the tournament agreement among Saiyan warriors. Enraged by this breach, Trunks vows to finish the fight using only his right arm to humiliate Goten. However, when Goten gains the upper hand, Trunks utilizes his left arm and also transforms into a Super Saiyan to knock Goten out of the ring. Trunks concludes that since both fighters used their transformations once, the score is even.
