Ep. 6: Miaka faces a mirror impostor who steals her life and traps her in the glass realm.

A mirror-Miaka emerges from the glass, claiming Hotohori is a better match than Tamahome, and traps the real Miaka inside. The imposter reveals Nuriko’s secret and attempts to kiss Hotohori, but he senses deception. When the warriors attack, the impostor drains their power using the mirror. Taiitsukun urges Miaka to find a solution. Miaka stabs herself with a broken plate, wounding the mirror-Miaka since they share a connection. The warriors defeat the impostor, allowing Miaka to reappear nearly dead. Nuriko tends to her injury while Yui suffers a parallel wound in the real world. Miaka converses with Yui on the brink of death, briefly viewing paradise before returning to the world of the four gods. Taiitsukun then reveals herself and promises to help Miaka return home.
