Tami obtains old rakugo club costumes for the group's performance. Yaya falls into depression after her band disbands due to a failed audition, causing her to isolate herself. Naru and Hana attempt to comfort Yaya upon learning the truth, but she reacts aggressively, declaring she hates everyone and no longer wishes to be friends with Naru. Refusing to let the friendship end, Naru and Hana take decisive action to bring Yaya to the rooftop. There, Yaya admits her anger stems from jealousy over Naru's ability to make friends. Understanding that she has a place with the group, Yaya resolves to become a more dedicated member of the yosakoi club.
