Main and Sab entertain themselves by role-playing a war, despite being the sole survivors on a planet entirely governed by Mother Computer Junior. Growing weary of their conflict, the pair devise a scheme to utilize the 999 for an escape from their isolated world. To successfully deceive Mother Computer Junior and execute their plan, they require two individuals to serve as scapegoats. Consequently, they select Maetel and Tetsuro for this purpose, setting the stage for their attempted departure from the controlled environment.
