Traumatized by a holographic projection of her past, Anita flees into the woods, prompting Michelle and Maggie to search for her. Yomiko provides a detailed explanation of the event to Nenene, Nancy, Junior, and Drake. That night, a British Library agent called the Mirror Man breaks into the house, compelling Junior to resume his duties. By morning, everyone except Yomiko and Anita has vanished. The Mirror Man, disguised as Nenene, deceives the remaining individuals and steals the book. Yomiko and Anita manage to evade his trap and prepare to fight back against him.
