Ep. 61: Kenshin and allies escape Inferno Arena while Saito is left behind

Sanosuke and Aoshi rescue Kenshin from the collapsing structure, allowing them to flee the eruption. Saito remains trapped because his severe leg injuries prevent him from jumping the broken bridge. The Inferno Arena is destroyed, appearing to kill Saito. The trio reunites with Kaoru, Yahiko, and Misao. Chō arrives to report on the fate of the Ten Swords. Meanwhile, Shishio, Yumi, and Hōji meet in the underworld to plan an ambush.
