Mikako praises a losing rugby team after a game, sparking an argument with a student that escalates into a physical confrontation. The man she slaps turns out to be her boyfriend's brother, leading to silence and tension. Months later, her relationship ends, and she discards a cake she made for him, only to be stopped by someone who volunteers to eat it. Separately, Ryouji and a girl he loves find themselves at an abandoned train station, where they encounter Ryouji’s grandparents who appear young and unfamiliar with him. They travel back to the Showa Era. In another story, Noe, who dreams of visiting the Galapagos, works to afford a ticket but is teased by her favorite DJ, leading her to confront him. Lastly, Isuka and Kimishima, seen as a troublemaker, form a bond after meeting at her late grandfather’s house. They keep their connection a secret, but rumors spread and adults disapprove.
