Ginji defeats Masaki, who questions his actions while Kanou interrogates Ren about assisting Makubex. Shido and Emishi intervene to stop Kanou. Masaki reveals he was sent by The Brain Trust to erase Makubex, whom he considers an illusion, but he opposed this order. Masaki joins Ginji and Ban at the Archive, discovering Makubex is erasing himself. Ginji uses lightning to destroy the Archive, causing a power outage in the Limitless Fortress. Emergency power restores Makubex, revealing his data was transferred out beforehand. This frees Lower Town residents from The Brain Trust experiments. Teshimine returns, pleasing Ginji. At the Honky Tonk cafe, Kaoru removes a seal from Sakura’s arm, rejuvenating her. Ren returns to Gen at the pharmacy. Ban and Ginji continue their recovery service life at the cafe.
