Jun 26, 2010After apprehending a thief, the Detective Boys meet Kyouzou Daita, who invites them to a cake shop. Conan observes Daita’s strange behavior and later learns he plans to stage his death as an accident to secure insurance money for his granddaughter’s surgery. Daita confesses that losing a winning lottery ticket led to his despair. Conan deduces the ticket is hidden in Daita’s reading glasses case. Relieved, Daita jokingly mentions robbing a bank, prompting the boys to recall a suspect resembling Shuichi Akai. The caller arranges a meeting on the third floor of a department store. Upon arrival, the group encounters a man who reveals he is strapped with bombs.

Jul 3, 2010A hostage explains he was knocked out in the bathroom and warns that leaving or calling police will trigger floor bombs. The bomber demands the sender of thirteen red shirts be found. Jodie searches for Akai evidence in the department store while Conan and Kogoro investigate. Conan notes receipts show shirts bought on different days at 12:28 and observes creases on the garments. Outside, the Black Organization waits with snipers for Akai. Gin holds a gun to Kir's head, threatening to kill her if Akai survives. This tense standoff occurs as the group tries to identify the shirt sender amidst the bomb threat. The situation escalates with the Organization monitoring the area and the hostage situation remaining critical for all parties involved inside and outside the building.
580EP 580Conan deduces a code from folded shirts while Jodie spots Akai near the bombing site
Jul 10, 2010Conan organizes red shirts by their delivery sequence and analyzes their creases to uncover a hidden code. Meanwhile, Jodie observes Akai on the floor where the bombing occurs. Utilizing a computer in the cashier room, Conan investigates a disaster that took place on a snowy mountain on December 28. Okiya, present on the same floor, inspects a red shirt and determines the sender is connected to that mountain disaster. He smiles slyly upon noticing Akai in the crowd. Conan tranquilizes Kogoro and points out inconsistencies in the bomber's actions, noting that the suspect had time to kidnap and bomb a victim while urgently searching for the shirt sender. Conan then reveals that the man strapped with bombs is actually the bomber himself.
581EP 581Conan exposes the bomber's mountain clue and Akai faces Black Organization sniper threat
Jul 17, 2010Conan deduces that the bomber is cashier Mai Seta, who killed her father thirteen years ago to conceal embezzlement. He reveals that shirt creases signaled the message "I saw you burying it" and locates the body near a cabin due to the bomber's novice mountaineering skills. Seta confesses, claiming she acted to protect her son. Kogoro Mouri explains his deduction came from a text message, leading Conan and Ran to trace the call. The recipient denies sending it, stating a man resembling Akai provided the phone. Conan pursues Akai but encounters Jodie and Andre, who warn that the Black Organization plans to assassinate Akai via sniper. Outside a store, Akai smiles at the organization before vanishing into the crowd. Gin cancels the hit, noting Bourbon's independent nature.

Evidence of cockleburs shows they met at a park. Fujimori faked losing her key and having a heart attack, luring Imaoka through the balcony for her medication. She entered first and killed him. Fujimori confesses, claiming she acted after hearing Imaoka plan to end their career. A package from Imaoka later reveals he intended to retire to get married.

Later, while leaving for the washroom, she overhears officers speculating that Shiratori is dating her only because she resembles Sato, leaving her heartbroken.
584EP 584Inspector Shiratori's Broken Heart
Aug 21, 2010Shiratori concludes that none of the three suspects matched the shouting voice and leaves the police station. Haibara informs Kobayashi that Sato likely spread rumors suggesting Shiratori is settling for her instead of Sato. Shiratori tries to clear up the misunderstanding by confronting Kobayashi, revealing they met years ago in a bookstore while catching thieves. Kobayashi does not recall this event and suggests it must have been Sato. Conan deduces the female voice belonged to the victim, noting that 09 actually stands for OS, representing Osaka Nico Nico transportation. Shiratori confirms the truck driver saw the victim and Kodama enter the alley. Kodama confesses, stating Sumida planned to kill him for insurance money to pay debts, and he killed her in self-defense.

Jirokichi explains the shrine is steel-reinforced, meaning Kid must be disguised inside. Suspects include Jirokichi, Ginzo Nakamori, or three reporters.
